Six years ago today, on June 25, 2009, the world lost one of the best musical artists and performers of our lifetime. I am talking about Michael Joseph Jackson.
I still remember when I heard the news I was in disbelief and couldn’t accept that he was gone! It’s still so hard to believe that MJ has passed away! Michael Jackson was a legend and was taken away just like that. I remember being on vacation in Mexico and watching his funeral on television, bawling my eyes out. I loved MJ since I was like five years old. I grew up to his music. I guess when you grow up watching a legend, you almost think that they will never die, that they will be around forever!
His music was incredible, his voice was like an angel’s. We are lucky to have been a part of the musical history that MJ made. We grew up to his music and to this day it’s still being played. I just hope that wherever he is that he is truly at peace. I will never forget him and will continue to love and play his music because he will always be the King of Pop! Although he has passed on, in my heart Michael Jackson will always be here forever.
To pay my tributes, I wrote a little something to honour his memory:

With King MJ, that THRILLER

The GLOVED ONE with his slick MJ moves
Who had us MAKE THAT CHANGE
To HEAL THE WORLD and make it a better place
Who was GONE TOO SOON and we miss him so much still he’s in our hearts each and every single day
Even BILLIE JEAN ‘n’ DIRTY D
They was feelin so sad
He told you to BEAT IT
While he MOONWALKED with his hat
Legit a SMOOTH CRIMINAL
MJ was that LEGEND
That still lives inside of you
Although he’s gone forever
His music is still here
He changed the world and NEVER
Will we ever forget you
Rest in peace Mj
